Falmouth Lodge is a simple lodge on Gyllyngvase Terrace in Falmouth, a short walk from the beach and the town. It suits riders who want a no-frills bed near the end of Cornwall rather than a full hotel. From here the A3083 runs down to the Lizard, the most southerly point of mainland Britain, and the King Harry chain ferry across the Fal opens up the quieter lanes of the Roseland. Land's End and the far west make a good day out. Ask about parking when you book, since terraced streets fill up in summer.
