This hotel and restaurant is in a former mill at Manderscheid, in the Lieser valley in the southern Vulkaneifel, a short ride north of the Mosel. The Mosel at Bernkastel-Kues is about half an hour away, and the Eifel heights and the crater lakes around Daun are just as close. Covered parking keeps the bike out of the rain, and there is a drying room, wifi and route help. With its own restaurant, you can park up and stay put. Manderscheid's two castles are worth the short walk.
