Bikes have a garage and covered parking, and there are tools for small repairs, somewhere to dry wet gear, route tips and wifi. From Oberhof the forest roads drop away in every direction, towards Suhl, Zella-Mehlis, Schmalkalden and Ilmenau, so different loops start from the door. At this height, expect cool mornings and fog early and late in the season.
