Hotel Pension Menauer is a guesthouse in Schwarzach, on the southern edge of the Bavarian Forest, where the hills rise from the Danube valley. Bikes have covered parking, and there is somewhere to dry wet gear, route tips and wifi. Deggendorf and the A3 are about 15 km away in a straight line, so it works for a late arrival, and the forest roads towards the Arber and the Czech border start a short ride to the north.
